Know these cold

  1. 802.11 standards: a (5GHz/54Mbps), b/g (2.4GHz), n (MIMO, dual-band), ac/Wi-Fi 5 (5GHz, MU-MIMO, 3.5Gbps), ax/Wi-Fi 6 (OFDMA, dual-band, dense), Wi-Fi 6E (6GHz band added).
  2. Wireless security: WEP (broken RC4), WPA (TKIP), WPA2 (AES/CCMP), WPA3 (SAE, GCMP-256, perfect forward secrecy).
  3. Wireless site survey: verify coverage, identify channel interference, document AP placement. Non-overlapping 2.4GHz channels: 1, 6, 11.
