Know these cold
- IPv6: 128-bit, 8 groups of 16-bit hex separated by colons. Abbreviation rules: remove leading zeros per group; replace consecutive all-zero groups with :: (once only).
- IPv6 types: unicast (one device), multicast (group), anycast (nearest device). No broadcast in IPv6.
- Tunneling: 6to4, Teredo (IPv6 over IPv4), dual-stack (native both). NAT64 translates between protocols.
